Altamush Saeed is a BIPOC, award-winning Pakistani Interspecies Justice lawyer, activist, philanthropist & teacher. He is an Animal Law Professor at the University of Central Punjab Law School in Lahore where he teaches Pakistan’s 1st Animal Law Advocacy Course. He is a Founding Managing Partner at Environmental and Animal Rights Consultants, Pakistan’s 1st dedicated Animal and Environmental law and policy firm. He also co-founded Charity Doings Foundation which works on Interspecies Justice(charitydoings.org) (501c3 Tax Exempt US/Non-profit in Pakistan) and runs Pakistan’s 1st Disaster Zone Farm Animal Shelter and a plant-based school, serves as the Animal Welfare ambassador to Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRSWorld.org) and the Deputy Director & Regional Director North America at the World Moot on International Law and Animal Rights, an International Animal Law Expert for Pakistan at World Animal Justice, and a Junior Fellow at the Animals and Biodiversity Think Tank of the Global Research Network UK in addition to various leadership roles at Green Islam, Northwest Animal Rights Network, the BIPOC in Animal Wellbeing collective, ProVeg Youth Board and many more. He holds 4 advanced postgraduate degrees in law including 3 Master’s in laws (LLM), respectively in Animal Law, Environmental law, Human Rights, and International Law from Lewis and Clark Law School and the University of Michigan Law School, and a BA-LLB from Lahore University of Management Sciences Pakistan.

Altamush is known for his non-profit work in Interspecies Justice, earning him the 2022 LUMS Alumni Achievement Award (Youngest LUMS Law School Winner) and the 2023 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Trailblazer in Animal Welfare Award from the Humane Society of the United States at HSUS Expo 2023 and the Inaugural DEI Trailblazer Spark Award recipient at the HSUS Expo 2024.
