donate monthly & Be the grantmaker

Thrive Community Grantmaker

YOU be the grantmaker! When you join Thrive Community Grantmaker as a monthly donor, YOU participate in grantmaking decisions.

Traditionally, grantmaking decisions are directed by major foundations. At Thrive, we seek ways to share power and increase equity, inclusivity, and impact into philanthropy.

That’s why we’ve launched Thrive Community Grantmaker to include more voices in co-leading part of Thrive’s grantmaking - monthly donors and grantees themselves!

Join us as a Thrive Community Grantmaker monthly donor at $10 USD or more and play an important role in ensuring grassroots advocates worldwide can build just, plant-based food systems.

HOW IT WORKS

1.

Join Thrive Community Grantmaker by becoming a monthly donor at $10 or more.

2.

Each quarter (approx March, June, Sept., Dec.), receive an email describing approximately 3 organizations from 3 countries and vote on the group you’d most like to offer a grant up to $5,000 USD (learn more here).

3.

The collective voices of our Community Grantmakers lead the decision & the organization with the most votes receives an unrestricted Thrive Community Grant in addition to their regular Thrive grant!

AND…
WE’VE MADE COMMUNITY GRANTMAKING EVEN MORE INCLUSIVE:
In addition to monthly donors, Thrive’s grantees join the vote and co-lead Thrive Community Grant decisions, ensuring those with lived experience - the grantees themselves - voices are heard!
