Lauren is the Director of Food Systems Philanthropy at Stray Dog Institute, where she develops and executes Stray Dog Institute’s food system-related grantmaking, programs, and strategy. Lauren holds five years of experience in grantmaking and trust-based philanthropy and over ten years of experience in environmental sustainability and food systems. Before joining the Stray Dog team, Lauren worked for the Yale Sustainable Food Program as a Senior Advisor, Farm Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator, leading community engagement in food systems learning. Her work is motivated by a deep caring for people, animals, and the environment and a lifelong interest in the interconnections between people and the natural world.
